Nandine HAGANS, 60, 704 W. Stone, died at 11 a.m. Saturday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. She had been a hospital patient for the past two months.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Nadine HAGANS was born Jan. 15, 1923 in Stockport. She was the daughter of Marion and Florence BROWN YARGUS.
Her marriage to Pete HAGANS took place Aug. 17, 1946, at Ottumwa.
She is survived by a daughter, Christine DANIELSON, Route 3; her mother, Florence KELLER, Fairfield; a granddaughter Kerri DANIELSON; one brother, Wayne YARGUS, Hill City, S.D., and a sister, Leona GARRET, Oakland Mills.
Also one-half brother and three half-sisters: Kermit YARGUS, Paris, Tenn.;Velma Day, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Leota RODICH, Oregon; Glada DeVORE, Lamar, Colo.; four step-brothers, Gerald KELLER, Bonaparte; Wayne KELLER, Fairfield; Harold and Vern KELLER.
Mrs. HAGANS had been a telephone operator for ten years and she was a member of the First Christian Church.
