FAIRFIELD -- Marjorie A. SNOOK, 69, of 804 W. Depot St., Fairfield, died Tuesday at 12:10 p.m. at Jefferson County Hospital, where she had been a patient since Sunday.
She had been in failing health for several years.
She was born June 27, 1906 at Douds to Ernest T. and Alice FINDLAY GREENFIELD. She graduated from Douds High School.
She married Wilbur SNOOK on June 24, 1925. They lived all of their married life in Fairfield. He died in 1970.
Surviving are two sons, Ernest of Bettendorf and Glenn of Fairfield; two daughters, Mrs. Alice BRIGGS of Fairfield and Mrs. Delores CARVER of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a brother Cyrus GREENFIELD and a sister, Helen GREENFIELD, both of Douds.
The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home at Douds, the Rev. Donald Strauch officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Douds.
