A. N. BONNETT DIES AT HOME
Funeral Services at Birmingham M. E. Church Sunday 1:30 p.m.

Amos Newton BONNETT, 79, passed away yesterday at his farm home one mile east of Birmingham.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m., at the M. E. Church in Birmingham in charge of Rev. F. M. James of Keosauqua, a former pastor, assisted by Rev. H. C. Druce. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery. The body is at the Catcott Funeral Home.

Amos Newton BONNETT was born April 7, 1858, at the Bonnett homestead two miles east of Birmingham, the son of Lewis and Amanda BONNETT. He was united in marriage to Luella FORD, October 10, 1878. To this union were born five sons, Nelson, Frank, and Ervin of Birmingham, Perry and Pro of Chicago.

September 11, 1906, he was united in marriage to Bertha CARRUTHERS of Mt. Zion, Iwa. Neala CARRUTHERS, a niece has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Bonnett since she was 20 months old.

He is survived by his wife, five sons, five great grandchildren and nine grandchildren. His father, mother of seven brothers and two sisters have preceded him in death. His entire life was spent on the farm where he died.
