Jennie Hogue King
Jennie Hogue, oldest daughter of Samuel C. and Frances Hogue, was born near Keosauqua on Oct. 24, 1872 and died at a hospital in Nampa, Idaho on Feb. 23, 1949. She was ill only a short time with a heart ailment. She was married to Morris King of Keosauqua, in 1899. They went to Oregon first then to Bruneau, Idaho where she lived the rest of her life.
Surviving are six children, Ted, Fannie, Sam, Mary, Fred, and Edna all of Bruneau, 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren: two sisters, Mrs. Emmet Logan of Grandview , Idaho and Mrs. Catherine Clark of Keosauqua; three brothers, Ralph of Eldon, Arthur of Keosauqua, and George Hogue of Bonaparte.
Funeral services and burial were at Bruneau, Idaho
