George H. Craig of Vernon township returned recently from a trip to Brainerd, Minn., where he was called by the sickness of his father, David R. Craig, who died July 22nd, 1894, aged 82 years. The deceased was born in Erie county, Pennsylvania, August 9, 1811. He came to Van Buren county in 1864 and located in Vernon township where he lived until 1887, when he moved to Minnesota, where he resided the rest of his life. He was a quiet, industrious and respectable citizen.
