DIED. ­ April 30th 1875, at the residence of her son, B. F. Miller , in Davis
county Iowa, Mary Miller, relie* of the late Jacob W. Miller who died in
Birmingham, Dec., 1875 [sic].

Mrs. Miller was born in Hagerstown Maryland in the year 1792 and was married
to her late husband in 1816 at Frederick Co., Virginia. She was the mother of
ten children. She leaves the surviving four children, ten grandchildren and
sixteen great-grand children. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Baptist Church
for sixty years. Our dear Mother has been afflicted for near forty years. I
have many times heard her speak the following words:

Jerusalem my happy home

Oh! How I long for thee,
When will my sorrows have an end,

The joy, when shall I see.
