FORMER CANTRIL RESIDENT IS SURVIVED BY FOUR DAUGHTERS AND SON

Mrs. Christina Thieme of Keosauqua, a former resident of Cantril, died on December 31 after a brief illness. The funeral was held at Keokuk Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Thieme was the widow of Dr. G. A. Thieme, a physician in Cantril many years. Dr. Thieme died about ten years ago and since that time Mrs. Thieme made her home with her children.

Five children survive. They are Mrs. Beryl Casady of Burlington, Mrs. Leslie Simmons of New London, Mrs. Bud Higgans of Keokuk, Mrs. Roy Hines of Keokuk and Augustine Thieme of Sterling, Colo. The husband of Mrs. Simmons formerly was a Cantril mail carrier.
