Stella Mae Hull, 70, wife of Loyd Hull, died Saturday at the Van Buren County Memorial hospital at Keosauqua where she had been a patient five days. She had been ill for some time. (added by hand – Mar. 31, 1951)

Besides her husband she leaves five daughters, Mrs. Iva Fisk of Bloomfield, Mrs. Irene Pfaff, Mrs. Lala Holton and Mrs. Ruth White of Ottumwa and Mrs. Reva Arnold of Douds; two sons, Orville Hull of Carbondale, CO and Ancel Hull of Douds; a brother, Elmer Hining of Floris; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Lanman and Mrs. Freda Jackson of Floris; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held this afternoon at the Pedrick funeral home. The Rev. Robert G. Farr officiated. Burial was in the Leando Cemetery.
