Martha R. Counts,64, of Farmington died March 25,1996, at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital. Born Dec. 24,1931, in Salem, she was the daughter of Harvey and Myrtle Bice Smith. She married Raymond "Tip" Counts on January 29,1951, in Salem, Arkansas. Mrs. Counts lived most of her life in Farmington. She worked in the kitchen at the Harmony Middle School. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Brenda Neeley of Hillsboro, and Lois Mellinger of Bonaparte; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and three brothers. The funeral services were held March 27, at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
