HARRY EDWARD JENKINS

Harry Edward Jenkins, 92, West Des Moines, Iowa, died Friday February 8 at 9:00 a.m. in Des Moines General Hospital.

The son of Lorenzo and Lucretia Flood Jenkins, he was born July 4, 1887 in Farmington, Iowa. He married Lynnie Noske, Bonaparte in November of 1913 at Ottumwa, Iowa. She preceded him in death, February 24, 1970.

He was a conductor on the Rock Island Rocket between Des Moines and Kansas City. He was a Tyler in the Order of Masons, a member of the O.E.S. and a member of West Des Moines Methodist Church.

Surviving are one sister, Florence Eyler, Springfield, Missouri, one brother Lawrence of Watertown, South Dakota, several nephews and nieces and a great nephew, Gene and his wife Sally of Des Moines, who have faithfully cared for him.
