Edward W. Heise,85, of Farmington died Sunday Aug. 2, at the Henry Co. Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Aug. 23,1884 at Keosauqua, the son of Henry Augustus and Mary Schau Heise. on Nov. 20,1912, He married Nora E. Jesberg at her home near Farmington, She survives. he was a lifelong resident of Farmington and was a farmer. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons; Robert of Mt. Pleasant and Ray of Fairfield; two daughters Mrs.Aulden (Pearl) Van Winkle of Hillsboro and Mrs.Lewis(Hazel) Van Winkle of Burlington; one sister Martha Stevenson of Whitesburg,Ga; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Aug.5 at the Sharon church and burial will be in Sharon cemetery.
