MRS. JAMES BOWLES

KEOSAUQUA.--The funeral for Mrs. Wealtha Bowles, 70, was today at 2 p.m. at Prugh's Funeral
Chapel in Burlington. Burial was in Purdom Cemetery at Keosauqua.

She died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital in Burlington.

Born in Keosauqua Feb. 22, 1895, she was the daughter of James S. and Mary Alice McQuittey
Garrett. In June 1921 she married James D. Bowles.

The couple had resided in Burlington 45 years.

Survivors besides the widower include a sister, Miss Sarah Garrett, and a brother, James, both of
Keosauqua.

newspaper not given but handwritten at the top of the obit is "April 1965.")
