Mrs. Margaret Humphreys, for a great number of years a well known resident of Bonaparte, died a few minutes before noon, Monday, Feb. 9, 1925 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harper Van Zant in Farmington. Mrs. Humphreys was 79 years

old. She was the widow of Jas. Humphreys, who for many years was engaged in the boot and shoe business in Bonaparte. For 11 years she had been totally blind, but had borne her misfortune with much fortitude.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Bonaparte Baptist church.
