Carrie M. Page, wife of William C. Page, passed away at her home in Bonaparte Monday evening, Dec. 13, 1937 after an illness of nearly fourteen months, her age being 75 years, 3 months and 3 days.

She was born at Lawn Ridge, Ill., Sept. 10, 1862, the daughter of Mahlon and Anna M. Atkinson. Her father passed away when she was a very small child, and in 1869, she came to Bonaparte where she resided with her mother and step-father, Mr. And Mrs. Robert Wilson.

On Sept. 15th, 1885, she was united in marriage to William C. Page and to them was born one son, Harold C., now of Farmington, Iowa.

Along with her husband and son, she is survived by three grandchildren, Mary, Robert and Warren Page, all of Farmington; one sister, Mrs. Francis Rinabarger of Peoria, Ill., and two brothers, T. W.. Wilson of Independence, Mo., and Robert E. Wilson of Bushnell, Ill.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Royal Neighbors of America. Of the latter she was a charter member of the Bonaparte camp.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church on Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Winfrey and Rev. G. W. Barber. Rev. Barber having performed their marriage ceremony fifty-two years ago. Interment in the Bonaparte cemetery.
