Mrs. Elsa E. Fletcher, 71, died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 1975 at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

She was born May 2, 1904 in Lee County, the daughter of Jacob and Anna Lang Schmitt. She married Keith Fletcher, October 9, 1932 at Kahoka, Missouri. She was a resident of Bonaparte for 43 years.

Surviving: The husband; one daughter, Mrs. Erma Cloud, Bonaparte; and one brother, Carl Schmitt, Donnellson.

Funeral was 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Bonaparte Presbyterian Church; Rev. Scott Holmes. Bonaparte cemetery.
