Mrs. Barbara Ann Derr, age 91 years, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 7th, 1957 at 5 o'clock at Keosauqua hospital. Her entire life was lived in Bonaparte.

She was born Jan. 8, 1866 in Bonaparte, daughter of Deborah and David Clark. She was married Jan., 1884 to Darius Derr. To this union were born six children, Oscar of Los Angeles, Calif., Guy of Berwyn, Ill., Harry of Milton, Iowa, Clara of Stockport, Iowa. Preceding her in death were her husband, one son, Clark, and one daughter, Ruby. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four nieces, a host of friends.

She was a member of Bonaparte Baptist church and Royal Neighbors for many years.

Services were held Friday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m., at the Bonaparte Baptist church in charge of the Rev. Jerald Beltz, pastor. Burial was in Bonaparte cemetery.
