Mrs. Jennie Bell McElroy,87, of Cantril died March 16,at the hospital in Keosauqua, where she had been a patient about two months. She was born in the Utica community Feb 4,1871, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Randolph. On March 29,1899 she was united in marriage to George W. McElroy who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons; Donald of Kansas City and Leonard Randolph of Cantril. She also leaves behind seven brothers George of Ames,Clinton of Wentachee,WA,Raymond of Milton, Johnnie of Mt.Sterling and Frances,James,and Orville whose addresses are unknown, and six sisters Mrs. Mary Beer and Mrs.Evaline Roland of Burlington, Mrs. Clyde Meredith of Wentachee,Wa, Mrs. Dottie Scott of Illinois and Mrs. Ora Madden and Miss Anna Randolph, addresses unknown, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.the funeral was Tuesday at 2pm at Burnett-Catcott funeral home and burial was in Dibble cemetery at Utica.
