Georgia Miller

Georgia I. Miller 90, formely of Des Moines, died March 9, 1999, at 2 a.m. at Annapolis Hospital in Wayne Michigan.

She was born March 1, 1909 at Carthage, Illinois to George and Alibce Brabham Schmidt and married Lynn Miller. They divorced. Until recently she had been living with her daughter in Westland, Michigan.

She was a banquet waitress at The Savery , Hotel Fort Des Moines, Bel Air Ballroom and the Ramada Inn, all in Des Moines.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Miller of Arvada, Colorado; one daughter, Marlene Wenner of Westland, Michigan; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, and three sisters.

Memorial services will be held in Farmington in June. Hofbauer Funeral Home Farmington is in charge of arrangements. Inurnment will be in the Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
