John R. Etheridge Died At 92

John R. Ethridge was born in London, England, July 6, 1829. At the age of 16 he came with his parents to the United States and settled near Bonaparte, Io. On September 21, 1850, he was united in marriage to Isidora Woolf at Troy, Iowa, where his wife lived. Six children were born to this union, three of whom died and three are still living. After the death of his wife he was married to Dora Bunner and to this union six children were born, of whom three survive and three are dead. His second wife passed on before him 11 years ago last August. Since that time he and his daughter Jennie have made their home together in Keosauqua, Iowa. The children who survive him are: Mrs. Gertrude Weddle, of Jefferson, Oregon; Jerreld D. Critchfield, of Porland, Oregon; Charles H. P., of Ottumwa, Iowa; Mrs. Maria Sullivan, of Mesa, Arizona; Geo.?, of Tempe, Arizona, and Jennie at home. About 30 years ago Mr. Etheridge accepted Christ as his savior and united with the Presbyterian Church at Chequest and remained a faithful member until his transition.
