(Article found in Hazel Poole’s Bible)Noah Ewalt Poole, son of William S. Poole and Julia Ann Phillips Poole, was born August 16 1861, and passed away April 20, 1933, being 71 years, 8 months and 4 days old at the time of death. He was married to Miss Mattie Barr, December 21, 1887. To this union six children were born, five sons and one daughter. Willie and Dewey preceded their father in death. Those left to mourn his demise are his widow, Byron Poole of near Primrose, Iowa; Bruce Poole, of Bonaparte, Iowa; Mrs. Laura Pearce, of Baring, Mo., and Herry Poole, at home near Acasto, Mo., and eleven grandchildren, and one brother, Milbern Poole, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Moore, of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Rebecca Sullivan, of West Liberty, Iowa, besides a large number of relatives and friends.
Mr. Poole was a kind good husband and father and neighbor and will be sadly missed by his loved ones and neighbors.
He was laid to rest in the beauful2 Sharon cemetery after funeral services were held in the Sharon church, conducted by Rev. Wright, pastor of the Baptist church of Farmington, Iowa.
Those attending the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Poole, Mr. and Mrs. William Poole and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Poole, all of Nichols, Iowa.
