Marjorie Hoskin
Marjorie A. Hoskin, 78, Denmark, died at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at University Hospitals, Iowa City. She had been seriously ill for the last two weeks, but her death was sudden.
She was born Jan. 11, 1922, at Farmington, the daughter of Guy L. and Bertha L. Lowery Story. She married Neal Hoskin, June 12, 1948, at Cantril. He survives.
She was a homemaker. She attended the Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kent (wife Sharon), Royce City, Texas and Randy (wife Vicky), Farmington; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Gene Story, Bonaparte; one sister, Bea Marshall, Farmington; and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call after noon, Tuesday, Oct. 17, at King-Lynk Funeral Home, Fort Madison, where the family will meet with friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home, with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will be in Denmark Cemetery, Denmark.
A memorial has been established for the Denmark Ball Association and contributions may be left at King-Lynk Funeral Home.
