Mrs. Wesley Perkins

Farmington -- services for Mrs. Wesley Perkins, past 90, were conducted Monday in the rural Croton Baptist Church in charge of Reverend Henry Olson, of Farmington, with burial in the Croton Cemetery.

Mrs. Perkins fell last Tuesday, suffering a fractured hip, and failed to rally. She died Saturday afternoon.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nels Reed, and was born in slavery. She was a member of the Croton Baptist Church, and had lived most of her life in that vicinity.

Surviving are her husband, Wesley Perkins, and two sons, Orlando and
Pearle Perkins, and several more distant relatives.
