Robert E. Watts - Son of R R and Ellen J. Watts born near Bonaparte, Van Buren Co. on March 24, 1868 and died at home in Hillsboro, IA on September 24, 1913 age 45 years, 6 months. In 1868 with parents moved to Pella, IA where he lived 12 years, then back to near Bonaparte. On February 5, 1889 married Carrie V. Hornbaker. Three children: Mrs. Millie Williamson, Donnellson; Miss Elsie Maria and Robert Earl of Hillsboro. Leaves wife, 2 daughters, one son, 3 brothers.
