Sidney Van Sherman - Born in Harvard, NE on September 3, 1880. To IA about 15 years of age. Brother, J. R. Sherman at Liscomb, IA. Later to Bonaparte. Youngest son of David T. and Annie E. Sherman, he is twin brother of N. D. Sherman of McCook, NE. The father died at Liscomb, IA in 1899. Leaves 3 sisters: Mrs. Belle Edwards and Mrs. Bess J. Beckert of Chicago; Mrs. E. C. Smith of Bonaparte. 2 brothers: N. D. Sherman of McCook, NE and J. R. Sherman of this city, and her mother. Married to Georgia H. Henry at Bonaparte September 6, 1903 who survives. Died 1913 F-Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua.
