Mrs. Frances Victoria Burton Smith - Born in log cabin a mile west of Bentonsport on April 17, 1847 and died December 1, 1913, age 66 years, 7 months, 14 days. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Burton, died several years ago. At age 37 she married Calvin Smith of Kansas City, MO. After becoming a widow, returned to Bentonsport. Surviving brothers and sister are: Wm. B. Burton, St. Louis, MO; Dr. Benjamin Burton of CO and Martha Virginia Burton of Clinton, IA. F-Bentonsport Cemetery, Bentonsport.
