Mrs. Susan A. Henry Murphy - Born Vernon, Van Buren Co. on November 25, 1851 and died at Des Moines on September 1, 1912, 60 years, 9 months, 7 days. Youngest daughter of Sylvestor S. & Ora G. Henry who preceded her a few years ago. Married Charles N. Murphy in 1878. Three children: Miss Sallie and Mrs. Alice Hill of Des Moines and Sylvester S. Murphy of Somers, IA. Leaves husband, 3 children, 2 sisters: Mrs. Emily Phillips, Ottumwa, IA; Mrs. Ora A. Kays of Hyattsville, MD and 2 brothers: S. F. Henry of Bonaparte and Volney of Milton, IA. She was afflicted with paralysis November, 1902.
