John Trebelcock - Born November 18, 1824 in Cornwall, England and died August 28, 1910 at Mt. Zion, IA. Age 85 years, 9 months, 10 days. Came to US when he was 9 years old and settled with parents in Morgan Co., OH. In January 1839 moved to Athens Co. where he was married to Louisa Wyman on January 4, 1846 and they lived together 64 years, the wife surviving. They settled on a farm near Keosauqua 55 years ago until last 15 years when they located between Keosauqua and Mt. Zion. His parents were members of the Church of England. One child left, son Perry of Keosauqua who survives. F-Oak Lawn Cem, Keosauqua.
