John Hanson Cresap - Born April 18, 1845 in Alleghany Co., MD and died in Bonaparte September 4, 1909. To Van Buren Co. in 1860. Married Margaret Ellen Bradford Jan 22, 1865. Five children, all girls, 3 of whom have died. The surviving daughters are: Mrs. Bernice M. Stebbins and Mrs. Madora T. Moore . He is survived by 2 sisters and 5 brothers: Mrs. Margaret Fisher of Cumberland, MD; Mrs. Kate Humphreys of Bonaparte; Oliver Cresap of Canon City, OR; R T. Cresap of Koshkonong, MO; Jonathan Cresap of Selma and Messrs. Dan and Robert Cresap of Bonaparte. F-Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte.
