James Thompson Jack - Born McConnellsville, OH July 30, 1842 and died in Ft. Madison May 23, 1909. Came with parents to IA in 1857, settled in Van Buren Co. On October 3, 1872 married Miss Zerina Shepherd who died October 17, 1889. Two children: Nathan Eugene Jack of Ft. Madison and Mrs. Frank McGavic of Decatur, IL. In 1892 moved to Ft Madison where a few years later he married Miss Rachel Martin who, with the 2 children and 3 grandchildren, are left. F-Bentonsport Cemetery, Bentonsport.
