Mrs. Lavina Warner Boerstler - Born September 7, 1832 in Fairfield Co., OH, third daughter of Jonas & Susanna Warner, married Daniel Boerstler on March 13, 1851 and came to IA in autumn of 1851 near Pierceville, Van Buren Co. Lived there until 1900 then to Utica. Both killed by railroad train north Keosauqua July 4, 1907. Daniel 79 years, 5 months, 12 days and Lavina 74 years, 9 months, 29 days at time of death. Eight children, all living except Anna Nixon who died in KS October 24, 1886. Those living are: Charles Boerstler of Oregon: M. Rosaline Work; Mary Eveline Henry of Creston, IA; Florence Emma Junk, SD; Ira L. Boerstler of Pierceville, IA; Bertha Ellen Rehkopt of CA and Lena May Anson of CA. Also 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. F-Millers Chapel Cemetery, Mt. Zion.
