Mrs. Daisy Downing Bailey - Born January 16, 1877 Van Buren Co. near Leando and died Billings, MT on July 29, 1907 at age 30 years, 6 months, 12 days. Family moved to Bentonsport 13 years ago. In family circle of 10. Married Gideon S. Bailey October 27, 1899. Lived in Vernon until March 1906, then to Billings, Mont (had niece named Ivy Murphy). Survived by husband and parents, three sisters: Mrs. Lettie Murphy, Keokuk; Miss Iva at home; Mrs. Minnie Ruble, Bentonsport. 4 brothers: John and Ross of Davis Co., IA; James of MN; and George of Rock Island, IL.
