Alonzo H. Lane - Born Logan Co., OH on February 24, 1845 and died in Keosauqua on June 10, 1907 age 62 years, 3 months, 16 days. At age 9 came with parents to IA. In 1863 enlisted Third IA Cavalry Co G. and served 1 year. Married October 29, 1866 to Catharine Snare. Nine children, eight of whom survive, with wife and mother to mourn. Anna, one daughter mentioned. All children living. F-Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua.
