Mrs. Augusta Schrepfer Winkler - Born Marlesreuth, Germany on November 26, 1841. Grew to womanhood in Germany. Married Simon A. Winkler summer of 1865 in Germany. Came to America 1872 to Farmington until 1874, then to Harrisburg Twp. Eight children, 4 died in infancy. Left her husband, 1 son, Fred Winkler, at Bentonsport; 3 daughters: Mrs. Anna Scott of Dallas; Mrs. Emma Radestock and Miss Mary Winkler of Bonaparte. Also 1 brother, Fred Schrepfer of Bonaparte and 1 sister in Germany and 5 grandchildren. Died near Bentonsport on February 22, 1907 at age 65 years, 2 months, 26 days.
