Amos M. Eager - Born Orange Co., NY June 3, 1837 and died in Vernon Twp, Van Buren Co. April 17, 1906 age 68 years, 10 months, 14 days. 1862 enlisted 124th NY Inf. served until end of war. Married Susan A. Collard February 17, 1874. Two sons, John L. and Wm. B. both live with wife, survive. Two brothers in MI. F-Center Chapel Cemetery, Keosauqua.
