James Green - Until after the Civil War he was one of the proprietors of paper Mill at Bentonsport. Was uncle of late Mrs. Peter R. Keck who died year ago this summer. Mr. Green moved to Kansas. Paper from Hutchinson, KS dated March 13 showed death of Mr. Green. Father of Mrs. G. W. Winans died at Winans home, 81 years old. Made his home there the past years. Mr. Green leaves 3 children: George A. Green of Ft. Madison, IA; J. C. Green, Browning, MO, and Mrs. George W. Winans of this city. Buried at Junction City beside his wife who died several years ago.
