Howard Davis - Born Hoskinville, OH on May 20, 1842. To Washington, Co., IA when quite young. Thence to Scotland Co., MO for several years. Back to IA to Mt. Sterling in November, 1874. Married Elizabeth Stewart in Scotland Co., MO August 17, 1862. Seven children, 3 boys, 4 girls, the oldest boy died in infancy. The girls are all in Mt. Sterling; Clarence in Bonaparte and Nathaniel in State of Washington. Died at Longmount, CO May 24, 1905. F-Harness Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
