Mrs. Effie May Foster - Born in Bonaparte, IA on September 21, 1874. Moved to Cantril when she was 11 years old. Married Pittman October 14, 1896 to Edward F. Pittman. Lived near Cantril until January 1901. Moved to Keosauqua. Mr. Pittman was Deputy Clerk of the Court. Four children, all are living: Mabel 5, Mildred 3, Claud 2, and baby Lela 5 weeks old. Died May 31, 1903 age 29 years, 6 months, 10 days. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Foster, 3 sisters, one brother all living near Cantril. F-Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril.
