Died June 21, 1899 in Bentonsport, Iowa. Born Wilmington, Dearborn Co., Indiana on April 4, 1826 and was the youngest of 7 brothers, only one of whom survives. Parents were Robert and Elizabeth Moore, moved from Indiana to Iowa in 1839, Harrisburg Twp. With 2 brothers he went to California in 1852. Returned in 1854 to Bentonsport. Married August 29, 1854 to Miss Anna A. Brown. Had 10 children, 7 survive. F-Bentonsport Cemetery, Bentonsport.
