Timothy O'Day, a son of the late Jeremiah O'Day, died quite suddenly as he was walking along the street at Des Moines, Ia., where he resided, on Saturday, June 5. A coroner's jury returned a verdict of death from heart disease.

The body was brought to Kahoka, arriving Friday, June 12th. The funeral, which was largely attended, was from the Catholic church., Saturday morning, June 13th, services being conducted by Rev. Joe G. Westhues. After services at the church the body was taken to Kahoka cemetery and placed in the O'Day vault by the side of the father, who passed away several years ago.

The sexton who recently examined the latter says that the body is still well preserved and that the features remain as they were in life.

Timothy O'Day was born in Clark county, at Chambersburg, 47 years ago. He grew to manhood here but had resided in Des Moines, where he was employed by a railroad company, for several years. He is survived by his widow and a number of brothers and sisters, among the latter are Mrs. Wm. Snyder, Kahoka; Mrs. Bridget Cummings, Bonaparte, Ia.; Michael O'Day, Chambersburg; John O'Day, Wyaconda, and Thomas O'Day, Memphis.
