Eldon-Fred Milam, 71, died at Twentynine Palms, Calif., Wednesday. He had lived in California 23 years.

He was a retired Marine Corps chief warrant officer.

He was born Jan. 27, 1894, at Selma, the son of James and Rosetta Adams Milam. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Milam was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Ripley of Selma and Mrs. Lillian Murphy of Aledo, Ill.

Military services will be held at the Iowaville Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. The casket will arrive at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon Friday.
