Miss Willie, a professional nurse who has been at Saguache attending a gentleman by the name of Forbes, who recently died from the effects of anthrax came over to Alamosa Wednesday night on her way home at Pueblo. Miss Willie says she never in her experienceas nurse witnessed the terrible suffering that this disease causes the victim. We understand there have been only four cases of anthrax among humans in the United States and that two of the cases have occurred in Saguache county. – Alamosa Leader.
