DEATH OF MERVIN DYE

Mervin Dye, aged 81 years, 8 months and 19 days, died Saturday, August 7, 1915, at his home in Cantril, following a long confinement to his bed with paralysis. In the early Eighties he lived at Keosauqua, moving from here to Cantril, which was his home until death claimed him. His first wife died years ago, leaving four chldren, all living. Later he married Mary Delaney and to them four children were born, all of whom are dead but one. The last wife survives. The deceased was a kind-hearted man. Funeral services were held Sunday, Eld. Pettit in charge. Burial was in the Cantril cemetery.
