Chas. Doeling, Sr., Dead.

Charles Doeling, Sr., and old and respected citizen, of Farmington, died Saturday night from effects of a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Doeling has been in poor health for over a year but has only been seriously ill a few days. The deceased was born in Bavaria, Germany, Feb. 1, 1831, and when nine years of age came with his parents to America, locating at Toledo, Ohio, where he grew to manhood. In 1855 he was married to Caroline Stir, and in April 1861 they moved to Farmington where the family still resides.

For a number of years Mr. Doeling owned a cigar factory and employed a large number of men. There is left to mourn his loss his widow and four sons, Chas., John and George of Farmington and Henry of Chicago.
