Bessie Allender Dead.

A telegram received here Sunday morning by her grandfather, J. W. Whiteley, announced the death of Miss Bessie Allender, at Lamoni, Iowa, on that morning. Mr. Whiteley departed at once for Lamoni, where he still is.

Bessie was well known by the residents of Bonaparte, and was a young lady of high accomplishments. She was eighteen years of age, and has suffered a year or more with rheumatism, which affecting the heart, caused her death.

The funeral occurred at Lamoni last Tuesday.
