Appleton – Stebbins.
The residence of Mr. And Mrs. T. A. Stebbins, 608 Fourth street, this city, was the scene of a pretty home wedding Thursday evening when their daughter, Miss Hazel Geraldine Stebbins, became the wife of Mr. John William Appleton of Lexington, Kentucky, Rev. F. A. Gageby of the Presbyterian church officiating.
The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Stebbins of this city. She has lived most of her life here, is a charming and talented girl, one to be known only to be loved. The groom is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Henry Appleton of Lexington, Kentucky, a popular young business man engaged in the clothing business there. The couple left at 1:05 over the Santa Fe for a few days visit at Chicago, after which they will be at home at 260 Limestone street, Lexington, Ky.
Present from out of the city were Miss Katherine Appleton and Charles Donaldson of Lexington; Miss Helen Rhodes, Miss Ollie Oberman and Bethioh Laughlin of New London; Mr. And Mrs. H. S. Stebbins and daughter Helen, Mrs. Margaret Perry and daughter Frances of Keokuk; Mr. And Mrs. Charles Stebbins and daughter Margorie of Bonaparte; Mr. And Mrs. J. E. Cantril and daughter Letha of West Point.
