Married at the home with the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Simmons, at 7 o'clock, on Thursday evening, Oct. 8, 1891. Miss Maggie Simmons and Mr. Fred Helwig, Rev. C. W. Wilson officiating. Quite a number of their friends were present and left many beautiful gifts as a symbol of their regard for these young people just beginning the journey of life together. The bride and groom left that night for a trip to St. Louis.

Last Thursday evening, Mr. Fred Helwig, one of our popular young farmers and Miss Maggie Simmons were united in marriage. They received many nice presents. It is their intention to settle down to farm life.
