Born to Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Crooks Jan. 30, a son, Edgar Dallas Crooks. Mrs. Arnold Beard has just return from visiting her nephew at Wever, Iowa.

[Note: year not given but position in scrapbook suggest 1909. Mrs. Crooks and Mrs. Beard maiden names Ethel Dolores Troutman Crooks and Jennie Clare Troutman Beard.]
