Smith- Swanger Marriage 1887

At the residence of the bride's parents in Bonaparte, Iowa, August 25th 1887, Mr. Frank A. Swanger of Milan, Missouri, to Miss Ada J. Smith of Bonaparte, Iowa. At 7 p.m. the guests assembled in the parlor and the young couple soon appeared and were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Geo. W. Barber officiating. The bride is one of Bonaparte's best young ladies, and the groom is one of the most popular of young men of the community in which he resides. A host of friends unite in wishing the young couple a long a happy married life. A number of valuable and useful presents were presented to them as tokens of the esteem in which they are held.
