A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

TO JOHN EDWARDS.

On Sunday morning Messrs John Edwards and Dave Davis were on the Rachel Neal farm south of the river collecting some roots for medical purposes. While walking down one of the steep bluffs Mr. Edwards' foot slipped on a stone and he fell, breaking his left arm just above the elbow.

He was brought home as soon as possible and given medical attention. Mr. Edwards bones are getting too old and brittle to heal as quickly as they would if he were fifty years younger but he is getting along nicely.
