A DREADFUL ACCIDENT.

FLOY GRIMM.

A rather serious accident befell Floy Grimm, daughter of Charles Grimm of Keokuk. Having poor health Miss Grimm had been visiting all summer with the S. R. Hampton family of LaCrew with the hope that the country clime would be beneficial to her health.

Last Sunday evening, July 3, while out in the pasture an infuriated cow attacked her with the result that her right leg was broken three times just above the ankle. The animal then gored her cutting a large place. It was feared that blood poisen [sic] would set in and she was taken immediately to Keokuk.

It will be remembered that the Grimm family lived here several years ago.
